I ordered these boots after combing this site for mid-calf boots with that would conform to minimal footwear standards - thin flexible soles and very little heel. These do happily fit the bill. The soles, though thin, are cushioned and comfortable. I have rather girthy calves and while the boots are a tad tight at the top, the hidden elastic panels prevent from being uncomfortably so. The style is unique - the large stitching at the bottom makes them look kind of boho, but the suede makes them look sort of sleek, but the soles make them look kind of sporty at the same time? Altogether, they're cute. I got a few compliments on them at work. After the first full day of wear one of them rubbed a little bit uncomfortably on my inner ankle, but I'm hoping that will abate after a breaking in period. In any case, the price on these can't be beat and I am very pleased with this purchase so far.really happy with these. was looking for a kick around boot with some support which this suprisingly has!. this is SO lighweight and has no lining, you can fold and put in your purse! it has great rubber sole pads so I know I wont slip (weirdly this is important to me). wanted black but they were out of that size yet these are really beautiful.. a kind of moccasin. only setback is its a lil loose and I got my regular size - also like with most things made in china- you can see the glueThese boots are very well made and I love the design. I didn't realize they were sold.in European sizes and I ordered a 9 and they sent a size 40. They were much too long so I then ordered a 39 and they fit great. They do run a tad narrow though which works for me but might not for all.LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots! They sat in "Saved for later" cart FOREVER!!!!!!!! I'm so glad I bought them. They're SUPER comfy, and just what I was looking for. I bought a 9 and they fit more like 8.5 which is what I wear anyway! Super happy with these boots!
