As with all Mephisto shoes, the quality is outstanding. If I were to find fault, it would be that these shoes are very heavy due to the thick sole.The sneakers are comfortable, but they look too much like bowling shoesSlightly longer than most but cute. As far as comfort I just had a foot injury that is healing so that is still to be assessed for more than a 10 minute wear. I hope it does work because it is a cute pair.I love them. Mephisto comfort is truly amazing, and the rounded toe suits my foot perfectly. I am a true size 10.5 but I'm never sure how things are going to fit. Euro conversions seem to vary by brand, and I have had to size up in certain Mephisto sandals. I tried both the 10.5 and the 11, and the 10.5 was the keeper. This is a stupid amount of money to pay for a pair of sneakers, but if you go for it, you will be happy you did.The sighs is correct ! This shoe has a high platform sole !Mephisto Brand shoes are the best. Not made in China, but in Europe. This shoe fits well, is attractive, and a good walking shoe.
